Lotta Schelin at the Champions League trophy handover ceremony 

Lotta Schelin today attended the Champions League trophy handover in London as a representative for Olympique Lyonnais, along with five of the Chelsea players that won the male version last year. Schelin was quoted saying: “It’s amazing to be here at the handover. Hopefully we’re only giving it back for a while - the biggest club trophy. It would mean a lot to reach another final. It would be historic. We have to finish the job on Sunday.” and “The last five years in France have been amazing. Seeing OL Féminin win (The UEFA Women’s Champions League) has been great and it’s done a lot for women’s football in France.”
